How will I receive my weekly meal plans?

By every Friday, you will receive your recipes and shopping list, or notification that your cart is full and ready for you to purchase your ingredients. Please make sure that I am added to your address book so that my emails do not get lost in your spam/ other folder.

What is a "flex meal"?

You will receive a recipe card each week for a "flex" meal. You can use this meal for a 4th weekly dinner OR you can do a lunch meal prep with it and eat it all week for lunch.

How does Instacart work?

You need to secure your own Instacart account. I would highly recommend signing up for Instacart Express. Here's why: no added fees. Without a membership you will be paying delivery fees and service fees. It is kind to tip your driver regardless of the type of account you choose (Instacart gives you the option of 5%, 10%, etc. with an easy click of a button).

If you decide to pay for the entire year of Instacart Express, the membership fee is $99. If you don’t want to commit to the full year, you can also pay per month for slightly more at $9.99 per month.

With an Instacart Express membership, you’ll have the following privileges:

  • Free delivery on orders of $35 or more

  • No service fee charges

  • No busy pricing, ever

  • Order from multiple stores on one order

  • One-hour delivery for no extra charge

I signed up for Instacart as I was preparing to launch Your Meals Made Simple and I have kept my account. I LOVE it - especially during the winter months here in Ohio! If your shopper does not get somethig you like, they will immediately reimburse you

Are your meals gluten free?

They are either gluten free or have an easy gluten free alternative! My husband and I eat primarily gluten free so the recipes I chose are already tested! 

Are your meals paleo, whole 30, or Trim Healthy Mama friendly?

My meals are healthy and can typically be adjusted easily to any of the above eating plans.

Can I pick and choose my meals each week?

At this time there is a only a set meal plan for each week. You are always welcome to adjust it yourself with meals that you have previously enjoyed or your own family favorites.

What if I do not like what you place in my cart?

Every week you will receive an email with the ingredients needed for the week as well as instructions on what to personally review. Don't need garlic? No problem...remove it from the cart. Running low on a spice? I will tell you which spices you need that week and you can drop it into the cart! You get the opportunity to look over all of the brands chosen and decide if it what your family likes best.

What if I do not like one of the meals for the week?

My family (plus others!) taste test each meal that I send to you and I try to send a variety of choices each week. If you are not "wowed" by one of the meals please feel free to remove the ingredients and replace them with a meal you enjoyed previously.

Can I cancel my subscription without penalty?

YES! You can cancel your subscription at any time. It will take 7 days for it to go into effect.

Will my account be secure?

YES! I will not share your email information with anyone else AND I use LastPass to securely store your password. Once you sign up, I will send you a link to create your own LastPass account and through that platform, you will share with me your Instacart account password - and I WILL NEVER even know what it is! When I go to add items to your personal cart, I will click a link that allows me to use your account but I never see your password. How cool is that?!

Do you have vegan/ vegetarian meals?

At this time, I do not.
